Bristolville man killed in single-vehicle accident


MECCA — The Ohio State Highway patrol today continues its investigation in a single-vehicle crash that killed a 43-year-old Bristolville man died Sunday on state Route 88 in the township.

Kenneth Hudnell, was driving west on Route 88 about 5:10 p.m. when he lost control of his Dodge vehicle on a wet roadway with the vehicle hitting a sign and then a telephone pole, according to a patrol report. Hudnell was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle.

He was pronounced dead a the scene by paramedics.

Georgann Barrickman, 51 of Kinsman, was a passenger in the vehicle and sustained nonlife-threatening injuries. She was wearing her seat belt, the patrol said.
