Kolenich appointed to board for award

YOUNGSTOWN

Brian Kolenich of Park Vista of Youngstown has been appointed by the director of the Commerce Department’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to the 2014 Board of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

Kolenich is appointed to the board as an alumni examiner. Before this year he has served as an examiner and senior examiner from 2003 to 2008 and as alumni examiner in 2012 and 2013. The award is the highest level of national recognition for performance excellence that a U.S. organization can receive.

Kolenich is responsible for reviewing and evaluating applications submitted for the award.
