Motorist charged in death of Pa. company exec
READING, Pa. (AP) — Authorities in eastern Pennsylvania have filed charges against a motorist accused of killing a local business executive as she jogged.
Police arrested 56-year-old Mark Miller of Fleetwood today. He’s charged with vehicular homicide, DUI and related offenses in the death of Sally Miksiewicz.
Police say the 52-year-old CEO of East Penn Manufacturing died of head injuries June 20 after being hit by Miller’s pickup truck on a road near her home.
Miller was taken into custody after the accident but released pending further investigation. He is in the Berks County Prison.
East Penn Manufacturing is a battery maker near Reading with thousands of employees. Miksiewicz was also a trustee at Moravian College in Bethlehem.
