Cooking contest set at White House farm

CANFIELD

White House Fruit Farm will sponsor a unique cooking contest in which all recipes will be limited to the same main ingredients revealed only days before the event.

The second annual Farm Fresh Cookoff Challenge will take place at the farm Aug. 9. Preregistered contestants will not know the ingredients they will be working with until they pick up their ingredient bags Aug. 6 through Aug. 8 at White House. Completed dishes accompanied by a written recipe must be delivered to the farm by 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 9.
