Campbell police investigate burglary report

CAMPBELL

City police are investigating a report of burglary in the 200 block of Reed Avenue.

About 1 a.m. Thursday, police responded to the residence, where the homeowner, a 62-year-old woman told police that her purse was missing. It contained her driver's license, Social Security card and debit card, and had been sitting on a chair near the window in her kitchen. Some of her medication also was missing from the table.

Shortly before officers arrived, the homeowner heard noise coming from the kitchen. She then noticed that her fan had been pushed out of the window, and that the screen had been forced up.
