Serbian picnic planned Sunday
YOUNGSTOWN
The 82nd Annual Serbian Day Picnic of Youngstown will take place from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave.
Traditional foods for sale will be spit-roasted lamb and pork sold by the pound, cevapcici (grilled sausages), homemade donuts, Serbian rice and potato salad.
Libby’s Tamburitzans will play from noon to 2 p.m. in the Serbian Hall and Velibor Drobnjak from 4 to 9 in the pavilion, rain or shine.
There will be games for children and a bounce house.

Youth choir sets summer concert
WARREN
Warren City Wide Youth Choir will present its fourth annual summer concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at Warren Community Amphitheatre, 321 Mahoning Ave. NW. Rehearsals are at Agape Assembly Church, where Todd Johnson is pastor and choir director.
The choir involves more than 100 participants. The choir promotes unity, combats negative behavior and provides a forum for positive expression of musical gifts and to encourage educational excellence.
The choir gives scholarships, which will be awarded at the concert.
