Sam’s Club: Supplier initiates recall on fruit

Sam’s Club is notifying customers that a supplier, Wawona Packing Co., has initiated a voluntary recall of select peaches, plums and nectarines because of the potential presence of Listeria.

The following Wawona Packing products are affected: Yellow nectarines with UPC #0003338332316, plums with UPC #0003338332016, white peaches with UPC #0003338332256, yellow peaches with UPC #0003338332255, white nectarines with UPC #0003338332361, and organic peaches with UPC #0003338332363.

Only items with a pack code of 0193 and prior (Ex. 193, 192, 191, 190, etc.) are affected.

The pack code can be found on the side or top of the product packaging.

If any of these products still are in your possession or inventory, return the product to Sam’s Club for a full refund.

If you have resold any of these products, it is requested that you contact your customers and notify them of the recall.
