2 Youngstown women to split lotto winnings
YOUNGSTOWN — Two Youngstown women will split $394,500 after having one of the two winning tickets sold in a July 18 Ohio Lottery drawing.
Beating the 1-575,757 odds in the $789,000 Rolling Cash 5 game were Ruth Maro and Louise Redmond, according to an Ohio Lottery press release. The game rolled for 13 weeks.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent, the women will split $280,095, with each receiving about $140,000. The store where the ticket was sold will receive a $500 agent sales bonus.
