“ENDEAVOUR” (9 p.m., PBS): Season 2 of this “Masterpiece Mystery!” series comes to a gripping finale as young Detective Constable Endeavour Morse (Shaun Evans) investigates two cases that, initially, seem to be unconnected: the disappearance of a 10-year-old boy and the death of an investigative reporter. But as he and Thursday (Roger Allam) delve into the mysteries, they unearth police corruption and misconduct that extends into the upper echelons of Oxford society.

“Aliens on the Moon” (9 p.m., Syfy): Wow — our border security really is lacking.

“The Lottery” (10 p.m., Lifetime): “The Lottery” is a new drama series that imagines a dystopian future driven by a global fertility crisis. After a scientist finally manages to fertilize 100 human eggs, a battle over control of the prized embryos begins.

Playhouse offers ‘State Fair’ musical

NEW CASTLE, PA.

New Castle Playhouse will present the musical “State Fair” for two weekends, beginning Friday.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday, July 31 and Aug. 1 and 2; and at 2 p.m. July 27 and Aug. 3.

The theater is at 202 E. Long Ave.

Dancers perform at Disney World

Orlando, Fla.

Members of Sandy Bee Dance & Gymnastics of Youngstown entertained guests July 7 at the Waterside Stage in Downtown Disney at Disney World.

The dancers, under the direction of Sandy Bee and Willa Kamerer, performed several upbeat dance numbers including “Christmas in July,” a medley of festive Christmas songs.

This was the group’s sixth visit to the resort with the Disney Performing Arts program.
