Katherine Britton and Paul Gaige were united in marriage May 3 during an 11 a.m. ceremony at the home of Atty. Joyce Cowan, where a reception followed. Performing the ceremony was Michael Chaffee, uncle of the groom.

A local reception took place at the Kennsington Grille, Canfield, on July 6. After a wedding trip to Nassau, Bahamas, the couple reside in Dallas.

The bride, daughter of Daniel and Maryta Britton of Chillicothe, Ill., is an attorney in Dallas. She graduated from Tulane University with a bachelor’s degree and from John Marshall Law School with a juris doctor degree.

The groom, son of Gene and Kathie Gaige of Canfield, is an account supervisor for Hill and Knowlton Strategies in Dallas. He graduated from Tulane with a bachelor’s degree and from Ohio State University Moritz College of Law with a juris doctor degree.

The bride wore a strapless silk and taffeta floor-length gown with a cobalt blue sash.

Jennifer Britton Colonnese, her sister, was her matron of honor, and the groom’s sister, Laura Albert, was the bridesmaid. Attendants wore cobalt blue dresses.

Robert Meyer served as best man, and the groomsman was Justin Albert, brother-in-law of the groom.
