Emily Russo and William J. Rusu Jr. exchanged wedding vows in a ceremony the afternoon of May 10 at Fellows Riverside Gardens, and a reception at the Davis Center in the Gardens followed. Christopher Russo officiated.

The couple honeymooned at Sandals Grande Riviera, Jamaica, and live in Youngstown.

The bride is the daughter of Brian and Pam Russo of Lowellville, and the groom is the son of William Rusu and Kathleen Rusu, both of Austintown.

The bride’s strapless, lace, slim-fitted gown featured a sweetheart neckline, a ruched satin waistband and Swarovski crystals.

Gina Russo, a cousin of the bride, was her maid of honor. Attendants wore desert blue gowns. Bridesmaids were Kacie Fox, Amy Hanuscak and Victoria Rusu, the groom’s sister. Angelina Rusu, the groom’s second cousin, was the flower girl.

Serving as best man for his brother was Antonio Rusu, and groomsmen were T.J. Rusu, the groom’s cousin; Randy Ebert, Adam Planty, Daniel Hanuscak and Andy Russo, the bride’s brother. Jay Rusu, the groom’s second cousin, was the ring bearer.

Mr. and Mrs. Rusu each graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in fine and performing arts. She works as a self-employed graphic designer and videographer in the Youngstown area. He is a creative services specialist for via680 in Youngstown.
