About 2 a.m., crews were called to a 1624 Hartzell Ave. home on the West Side, and that fire also was heavily involved when the first companies arrived. Damage there is listed at $14,400.
The cause of both fires is listed as arson. No one was injured in either blaze.
Trailer, gear stolen
AUSTINTOWN
Someone took a trailer with various lawn-mower equipment inside, totaling more than $10,000 in losses for a local business.
An 18-foot box trailer was discovered missing from Ohltown Road on Tuesday morning and reported to authorities at 8:16 a.m. Tuesday.
The trailer belonged to Impact Property Solutions and is valued at about $10,000. Various lawn- mower equipment was inside the trailer. The value of those items was unavailable Wednesday morning.
