Rebecca Lynn Sobinovsky of McDonald and Christopher Robert Hritz of Pittsburgh were united in marriage during a June 28 ceremony at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.

She is the daughter of Deb and Lou Sobinovsky of McDonald, and he is the son of Robert and Claudia Hritz of Canfield.

The Rev. Fred Trucksis officiated at the wedding, and a reception took place at the DeYor Center in Youngstown. The couple took a wedding trip to Italy and will reside in Pittsburgh.

The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a master’s degree. She is a physics teacher at Poland Seminary High School in Poland.

The bride wore an ivory fit-and-flare lace gown featuring a Bateau neckline over a sweetheart bodice. It was cinched at the waist with a crystal brooch and was fashioned with a chapel-length train.

Her maid of honor was Sarah Gerberry, and bridesmaids were Andrea Bland, Janie Holzer, and Ashley Ponikvar and Stephanie Zapka, cousins of the bride. They wore navy blue dresses.

Brian Hritz served as the best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Mike Sobinovsky, brother of the bride; Samuel Talerico; Timothy Hanek; and Chase Colantuoni.
