Warren man sentenced on drug counts

WARREN

Derrick Eggleston, 27, of Fourth Street Southwest, convicted at trial in May of heroin trafficking and heroin possession received a one-year prison sentence Tuesday.

Judge Andrew Logan of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court handed down the sentence.

A Warren police officer made a traffic stop on Eggleston’s car at the corner of Austin Avenue and Front Street Southwest Jan. 3 and found heroin and $1,588 in Eggleston’s possession.
