Children honor the Martins for 60th anniversary

GIRARD

Frank and Louise Martin of Girard were the guests of honor June 28 as they celebrated their 60th anniversary with their family at a dinner party at Vernon’s Cafe hosted by their children.

The children are John (Kathy) Martin of Howland and Rosemary (Rob) Hamilton of Canfield. They also have four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The former Louise Palmer and Mr. Martin were married June 26, 1954, at St. Rose Church, where they are members and belong to its senior citizens club.

Mrs. Martin is a homemaker, and Mr. Martin retired in 1984 as a laborer for Conrail in Youngstown. He is a member of Girard Oldtimers.
