CLASSES
Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s Restaurant on Route 224 in Boardman. All classmates and spouses are invited.
Chaney High School Class of 1948 invites all classes from the original Chaney to lunch at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Denny’s on Mahoning Avenue in Austintown.
Woodrow Wilson High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s in Boardman. Members of the classes of 1946 and 1948 also are welcome.
CLUBS
Greater Youngstown Monitoring Association Scanner Club will have a tailgate picnic at 6 p.m. July 12 at Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market St. The club will provide hamburgers and hot dogs. Transcendental Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Park Vista North Lounge, 1310 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, to honor the accomplishments of those in attendance. Each member of the group will construct a lifeline to highlight the ups and downs pertaining to his or her life. Attendees are asked to take a pen, pencil or box of crayons.

D.A.R.E. Singles Group, which meets at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman, has planned the following: 7 p.m. Saturday, bowling at Boardman Lanes; 7:30 p.m. Sunday, music in Boardman Park by the U.S. Army Band; 5 p.m. Tuesday, play boccie in Boardman Park; 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, volunteer at Second Harvest Food Bank; 7:30 p.m. Thursday, small talk night at the church; and 4 p.m. July 11, meet at the Mocha House to attend the River Rock at the amphitheatre.

Alzheimer Network Family Support Groups will meet at the following locations: 7 p.m. Tuesday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2305 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown; 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Charles Church, Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman; and at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church, corner of Sexton and Garfield streets, Struthers. These meetings are free and open to all caregivers and family members of a loved one living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. For information call 330-788-9755.
Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Howland United Methodist Church, 730 Howland-Wilson Road NE.
Parkinson’s Support Group meeting for July will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday at Leo’s Ristorante, 7042 E. Market St., (in the Howland Center) Howland. The speaker will be Dr. David Riley of University Hospitals, Case Medical Center. Dr. Riley is a neurologist and a movement specialist. He will speak on the effects of Parkinson’s disease.
