DRIVER ALERT: Boardman cops increasing patrols on Super Bowl Sunday

Township police announced they will supplement their regular patrols with high visibility enforcement patrols on Super Bowl Sunday.

Police will target aggressive, distracted and alcohol-impaired drivers and enforce seat belt usage, said Police Chief Jack Nichols.

The chief warned people planning to drink alcoholic beverages not to drive and said they should designate sober drivers or take taxis.
