TODAY

Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., will serve a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the church. The meal consists of chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad, bread and butter, pie and a beverage. The cost is $7. No reservations are necessary. THURSDAY

Col. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals will include meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. The cost is $6.50 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $7 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

FRIDAY

American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will serve the following meals from 3 to 7 p.m.: all-you-can-eat fried fish with french fries or macaroni and cheese; chicken with fries; or shrimp with fries. The meals will include coleslaw, rolls and beverage, and each meal is $8.50 for adults, $5 for children under 12 and free for those 3 and under. A fish sandwich with fries and coleslaw is $5.50. Christ the Good Shepherd at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. The cost is $5 a dozen. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at 330-755-1316, and orders can be picked up starting at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. No walk-in orders will be available.

Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders may be picked up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 a dozen. Orders should be placed from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday or 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Hot lunches will be available at 11 a.m.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato with cheese pirogi. To order call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. The cost is $6 per dozen. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday; no containers are necessary. Walk-ins are welcome. Patrons are asked to use the side entrance.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi for $5.50 a dozen. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins are welcome.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell only potato pirogi. The cost is $6 a dozen. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday. Pickup also will be from 9 to 11 Friday. Potato pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.

SATURDAY

New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., Niles, will have a roast beef dinner with salad and dessert bar from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The cost for adults is $10 and for children 5 to 12 is $4; kids 4 and under eat for free. A bake sale will take place during the dinner.

Richard Brown United Methodist Church, 1205 Elm St., Youngstown, is offering a chicken and biscuit dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. It will include a dessert and beverage for $8 for adults and $4 for 12 and under. Eat in or takeout.

Vienna United Methodist Church, 4265 Warren-Sharon Road, is serving a Swiss steak dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The meal includes mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, coleslaw, applesauce, bread and butter, beverage and homemade dessert. Takeouts are available. Cost for adults is $9 and for children 5 to 12 is $4; kids 4 and under eat for free. The church is handicap accessible. For information call 330-394-2827.

SUNDAY

Southington American Legion Post, 3145 Warren-Burton Road, will serve an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the post home. The breakfast includes sausage or biscuits and gravy. Tickets are $6.50 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Kids under 4 eat for free.

St. James the Apostle Church, 4019 Route 422, Pulaski, Pa. will sponsor a breakfast brunch from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The meal consists of french toast, sweet cheese filling, buttermilk and buckwheat pancakes with maple or peach syrup, scrambled eggs, home fries, bacon, sausage, ham, toast, cinnamon rolls, hot and cold cereals, coffee, tea, juices and milk. The cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children.

St. Mary Church, 3504 state Route 46, Mineral Ridge, will serve a pancake, french toast, sausage and scrambled egg breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meals are $6 for adults, $4 for children 4 to 11 and free for children 3 and under.

St. Vincent de Paul Society Students at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 3020 Reeves Road NE, Warren, are sponsoring a pancake breakfast from 10 a.m. to noon. Suggested donations are $6 per person or $20 per family. All proceeds are part of the National Souper Bowl of Caring and will benefit the St. Vincent de Paul Society at the parish. VFW Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve a homestyle breakfast sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary from 8 a.m. to noon. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. The menu consists of eggs, hash browns, sausage or ham, pancakes or freedom toast, toast and coffee or tea.

TAKING ORDERS

St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center, 356 S. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, is taking orders for beef tips and noodles dinners to go. There is no need to get out of your car. Meals are $8 and include green beans, bread and cake. Pickup is from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday. The center also is taking orders for wedding soup by the quart. Pickup is from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 11. Tod Avenue United Methodist Church, 155 Tod Ave. N.W., Warren, will serve an all-you-can-eat fish dinner from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 7. The meal consists of ocean perch, baked potato, coleslaw, dessert, bread and butter, and beverage. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 4 to 11. Kids 3 and under 4 eat free.
