CANFIELD
Jan. 18
Identity fraud: A resident in the 100 block of Kings Lane reported possible identity fraud.
Jan.24
Wrongful entrustment: Police arrested Tracy Smith, 46, of Blueberry Hill on a charge of wrongful entrustment after a traffic stop in the city.
AUSTINTOWN
Jan. 20
Weapons offense: Police arrested Lester Walker, 45, Boston Avenue, Youngstown, on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, receiving stolen property and illegal possession of a weapon.
Theft: A man denied paying bills he was charged for food at Belleria Pizza, 3460 S. Meridian Road.
Bad checks: Two payroll checks came back because of insufficient funds at Coney Island, 31 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Peter Larkin, 54, of West Hampton Drive on a charge of disorderly conduct.
Warrant: Police arrested James Anderson, 34, of Hyde Avenue, Niles, on a warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on a traffic charge.
Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Jennifer Samuels, 41, of South Elruth Court, Girard, for illegal possession of prescription pills and a summons to Robert Skvara, 31, of Brook Park, Ohio, for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Drug possession: Police issued a summons to Scott McAnderson, 44, of West Eighth Street, Salem, for possession of marijuana.
Jan. 21
Menacing: The crime was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Wedgewood Drive.
Warrant: Police arrested Raymond Floyd, 33, of Pierce Drive, Youngstown, on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic charge.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.
Warrant: Police arrested Jamie Henderson, 27, of Barberton, on a warrant for receiving stolen property.

Theft: A lock-box key was taken at the old Austintown Middle School, 5800 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A purse was taken at the Austintown Library, 600 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: A theft was reported at the Herons Landing Master Association, 6000 Herons Blvd.
Disorderly conduct: Police issued summonses to Chris Johnson, 42, of North Kimberly Avenue, Kelly Crowe, 39, of North Benton, and Lee Myers, 38, of Mahoning Avenue, on charges of disorderly conduct at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning.
Jan. 23
Extortion: Threats were made to ruin credit to the owner of a home in the 4000 block of Lake Road.
Theft: An undetermined amount of money was taken from a locker at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.
Theft: A belt was taken from a locker at Austintown Fitch High School.
Theft: Two women were seen stealing items from Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Lost or stolen property: Jewelry was lost or stolen at a home in the 30 block of DeHoff Drive.

Breaking and entering: Thieves gained entry, and money was stolen at 5 Star, 116 N. Meridian Road.
Theft: A cellphone was taken at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Keys and a cellphone were taken at an apartment in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Warrant: Police arrested Jennifer Mitchell, 25, of Akron, on a warrant for petty theft.
Criminal damaging: Tires were damaged at an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West.
Jan. 25
Theft: Miscellaneous items were stolen at Dollar General, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: A Straight Talk phone card was stolen at a home in the 40 block of Atlanta Avenue.
Domestic violence: Police arrested Martin Jourdan, 33, of East Radio Road on the charge in the township.
Theft: A 2009 black Anderson trailer was stolen at Log Cabin Industries,565 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Arrest: Police arrested Robert Gordon, 31, of state Route 46, Cortland, on charges of obstructing official business, criminal trespassing, possessing criminal tools, breaking and entering, criminal damaging, resisting arrest and obstructing official business. Police also arrested John Fisher, 26, of Union Street, Warren, on charges of possessing criminal tools, resisting arrest, obstructing official business, criminal damaging, and endangering.
Jan. 26
Warrant: Police arrested Mark Stankora, 32, of North Hazelwood Avenue, Youngstown, on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of passing bad checks.
Warrant: Police arrested Matthew Donofrio, 23, of Mahoning Avenue on a warrant for theft of a firearm.
