BINGO, CARD PARTIES

The Daughters of Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 421 Covington St., Youngstown, are sponsoring a valentine bingo and card party at 2 p.m. Feb. 9. Lunch will be served. Tickets will be available at the door for $5 for adults and $2.50 for kids 12 and under.

CASINO NIGHTS

Blessed Sacrament Parish, 3020 Reeves Road NE, Warren, will sponsor a Casino Night & Texas Hold ’Em on Feb. 8. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the Texas Hold ’Em Tournament begins at 5:30. Early registration is available at the parish now through Feb. 6. A $50 buy-in by then receives a bonus $200 in chips in addition to the $1,300 in chips with regular registration. Food, beverages, 50-50 raffle, blackjack and poker tables will be available. Participants must be at least 18. CRAFT SHOWS

American Legion Post 166, 141 W. Main St., Alliance, is planning its Spring Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 22. There will be a variety of vendors such as 31, Scentsy, jewelry, Avon, candles etc. Vendors are being added daily. There will be raffles, food, beverages and baked goods.

FLEA MARKETS

NIGHTS AT THE RACES

St. Nicholas School will host a Night at the Races with a touch of Vegas on Feb. 22 at the Great Hall, 766 Fifth St., Struthers. Call 330-755-2128 for information. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and races begin at 7. The event will feature refreshments, food, 25-cent draft beers and free admission. Among the games will be a basket auction, blackjack, two-card draw, Texas Hold’em and 25-cent and $1 pull tabs. At 4 p.m. will be a Texas Hold’em Tournament in the lower church. TRIPS

St. Andrewes AME Church Fundraiser Alliance is offering a guided tour of Lancaster, Pa., and Amish country from April 7 through 10. The cost is $365 for a prepaid double occupancy that will include four days, three nights, six meals and tickets to “Moses” at the Sight and Sound Theater. Other features will be a guided tour of Lancaster and Amish country and visits to Kitchen Kettle Village, Landis Valley Museum & Village, the Flight 93 Memorial and Hershey’s Chocolate World.
