Mad About the Arts tickets available

YOUNGSTOWN

The 19th annual Mad About the Arts fundraiser will be Feb. 21 at the McDonough Museum of Art on the campus of Youngstown State University.

The event, which benefits WYSU 88.5 FM and the McDonough, will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a presentation of wine craft and connoisseurship hosted by Ed Goist of WYSU.

The YSU Jazz Ensemble 2 will perform at 7 p.m. Guests can sample appetizers, beverages and desserts.

At 8:30 p.m., pianist and YSU faculty member Alton Merrell will take the stage with his jazz trio.

Craig Morgan headlines concert

MEADVILLE, pa.

The 40th annual country music show to benefit the Meadville Fraternal Order of Police will feature Craig Morgan with opening act Larry Frick on March 16 at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Allegheny College auditorium.

Morgan’s hits include “Bonfire,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “International Harvester,” “What I Love About Sunday,” “Almost Home” and “Love Remembers.”

Maennerchor at St. Patrick’s

YOUNGSTOWN

The New Castle Eintracht Maennerchor will sing at St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak Hill Ave., at 2 p.m. Sunday as part of the Sauce and Song series.

There will be a spaghetti dinner at the church hall from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
