Leno: No return to late night after ‘Tonight’

Jay Leno says he doesn’t plan to tackle another late-night show after leaving NBC’s “Tonight” next month.
In an interview with CBS’ “60 Minutes” airing Sunday, Leno said he can’t re-create what he had as “Tonight” host with another show.
Leno said his 22-year run was “fantastic.”
The comedian steps down as “Tonight” host Feb. 6. Billy Crystal will join Leno for his farewell broadcast in Burbank.
Jimmy Fallon takes over as host Feb. 17 in the new home city for “Tonight” — New York. Leno praised his successor, comparing him to a young Johnny Carson.
TV stars to reveal ACM Award nominees online
NASHVILLE, Tenn.
The nominees for this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards will be announced via Twitter and Facebook in a series of videos by TV personalities.
Fox Sports broadcaster Erin Andrews, Willie and Korie Robertson from “Duck Dynasty,” Beth Behrs from “2 Broke Girls” and hosts from “CBS This Morning,” “Entertainment Tonight,” “The Talk” and “The Insider” will make the announcements Wednesday.
The 49th annual ACM Awards will air live on CBS from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 6.
Other announcers for the nominees include actress-singer Lucy Hale from “Pretty Little Liars,” singers Jerrod Niemann and Darius Rucker, and reigning ACM songwriter of the year Dallas Davidson.

Picture book planned by Carey, Cannon
NEW YORK
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are working on a children’s book.
Scholastic announced Thursday that it has acquired the couple’s “Roc and Roe’s Twelve Days of Christmas,” a picture story scheduled for release this fall.
Illustrated by A.G. Ford, the book is a holiday tale featuring twins Moroccan and Monroe, to whom Carey gave birth in 2011.
Scholastic is billing the book as an “adorable” take on a famous Christmas carol.
