Garland-Serb engagement is announced

MINERAL RIDGE

William and Catherine Garland of Mineral Ridge are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Garland, and Nicholas Serb, both of Lake Milton.

Laura Hochendoner of Lake Milton is his mother.

The couple are planning a 4 p.m. May 24 wedding at Stambaugh Auditorium, where a reception will follow.

Invitations will be issued for both.

Miss Garland earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Akron. She is a registered nurse at Summa Akron City Hospital.

Mr. Serb is a graduate of Ohio University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in communication. He is a marketing specialist for Summa Health System in Akron.
