Cases on Internet

YOUNGSTOWN

Beginning next Saturday, the full texts of all new 7th District Court of Appeals decisions in Mahoning County cases will be viewable free of charge on county courthouse public-access computer terminals and over the Internet, said Kathi McNabb Welsh, the county’s chief deputy clerk of courts.

Saying her goal is to make them electronically available within several days after the clerk’s office receives them, Welsh said the decisions are being offered in this format under docket entries, searchable by case number or party name “as a matter of courtesy to the public and users of the system.” The Courtview website is courts.mahoningcountyoh.gov.

Columbiana County auditor Nancy Milliken is reminding all county dog owners that the deadline for purchasing 2014 dog licenses is Friday.

Dog owners who harbor dogs 3 months of age or older must license their dogs annually. Licenses are $10 per dog and can be purchased at the following locations: auditor’s office, 105 S.
