Armed robbers take cigarettes, cash on East Side

YOUNGSTOWN

Police reports said a pair of armed men got away with cash from Jacobs Food Mart, 2047 Jacobs Road on the East Side at about 5:35 p.m. Tuesday.

An employee told police she was behind the counter when two men dressed in black, wearing masks over their faces, came in and pulled guns.

One of the men went behind the counter and took cigarettes and cash and handed it to the other man, then they ran out of the store.

The employee told officers it appeared they left in a car driven by a third person.
