Officials ID body of woman found in car in mall parking lot

A woman found dead in a locked SUV parked behind Southern Park Mall on Friday afternoon has been identified as Dawn Blagovich, 42, of Niles, who had been reported missing Wednesday.

The identification, based on cards found in the vehicle, was released Saturday by the Mahoning County Coroner’s Office, which said it observed no signs of foul play or trauma and listed the date of death as undetermined.

Boardman police and Lane Ambulance personnel notified the coroner’s office concerning the body; and Dr. Joseph S. Ohr, forensic pathologist and deputy coroner, and Courtney Bouchie, a coroner’s investigator, went to the scene.

The circumstances of Blagovich’s disappearance and death are being investigated by the coroner’s office and Boardman and Liberty police.

Anyone who saw or communicated with Blagovich after 10 a.m. Wednesday is asked to call the coroner’s office at 330-740-2175.
