Children: Paul (Madeleine) Kerr and Robert (Patricia) Wingo of Boardman; Joe (Jackie) Bartholomew of Osage Beach, Mo.; Debra (Dan) Skica of Youngstown; Judy Noble of Camdenton, Mo.; and Jeff (Laurie) Bartholomew of New Middletown. A daughter and her husband, Patricia (Bob) Laue, are deceased.

BACKGROUND

Employment: He was an overhead crane operator at Youngstown Sheet & Tube for 27 years. He also worked for Fox Funeral Home for 50 years and retired at age 80.

Military service: World War II U.S. Army veteran and served from February 1943 to April 1946.

Date and location: A family celebration took place Jan. 12 at Davidson’s Restaurant in Cornersburg.
