Ham products recalled for possible bacteria contamination

An Illinois meat-packing company is recalling 67,113 pounds of sliced, spiral ham products due to concerns about possible Listeria bacteria contamination, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced Friday.

Gusto Packing of Montgomery, Ill., is recalling hams packaged Nov. 29 and 30 under the Centrella, Amish Valley and Ripple Creek Farms labels, which were shipped to wholesalers for distribution in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois or exported to Canada.
