Police look for suspect in Poland, Struthers armed robbery

Suspects sought in pharmacy robberies.

STRUTHERS

Struthers police are looking for a male suspect who they say walked into two pharmacies Wednesday night, brandished a gun and asked for drugs.

The Struthers CVS pharmacy on Youngstown-Poland Road was robbed about 9 p.m. Right down the street in Poland on McKinley Way, the Walgreens pharmacy had been robbed a few hours earlier.

Poland village police were unavailable to comment Thursday.

Struthers Police Chief Tim Roddy said there was no violence with the Struthers robbery, and it happened quickly.

The suspect in the incident was described as white, young and about 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall.

Police were able to obtain surveillance video of the unmasked man at both pharmacies.
