Bland will be sentenced at 9 a.m. Tuesday by Judge John Durkin of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.

Bland also faced charges of attempted aggravated burglary and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was accused of trying to break into a man’s home and when he could not get in, of retreating and firing at least two shots at the home.
