Jan. 5
Domestic violence: Sonnie Mikula, 32, of Talsman Drive, was arrested on charges of domestic violence and possession of drug abuse instruments.
Jan. 6
Drug abuse: Mitch Mitchell, 38, of Addison Ave., Louisville, was arrested on charges of drug abuse, and possession of dangerous drugs.
Warrant: Keith Wagner, 34, of W. Harrison Street, Alliance, was arrested for failure to appear on a warrant out of the Columbiana County Sheriff’s office.
Unauthorized charges: Unauthorized charges on a bank account were reported at a home in the 80 block of Oak Tree Drive.

Jan. 6
Theft by deception: An employee was given a bad check at Coney Island, 31 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Receiving stolen property: Stolen property was found at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.
Telecommunications harassment: A man is a suspect in telecommunications harassment at a home in the 4000 block of Timberbrook Drive.
Warrant: Joseph D’Amico, 19, of Woodland Trace Street, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on multiple charges, including: possession and sale of a dangerous drug, possession of drugs, and two counts of drug abuse.
Telecommunications harassment: An unknown caller was making harassing calls at a home in the 200 block of Third Street.
Jan. 7
Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 90 block of N. Beverly Avenue.
Assault: A male was assaulted by an unknown male at the Wedgewood Plaza, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.
Jan. 8
Criminal damaging: A cellphone was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Staatz Drive.
Fraud: A fraudulent check was reported at First National Bank, 5632 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Two females were seen stealing DVDs at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Menacing: Three males were involved in menacing at Mahoning Avenue and state Route 46.
Theft: Anthony Seidita, 48, of S. Dehoff Avenue, was arrested on charges of theft and criminal trespassing at Pilot, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road. He allegedly stole a Mountain Dew drink and candy, and is on store video taking a Bluetooth headset recently, store employees told police.
Assault: An assault was reported at a home in the 100 block of Aldrich Road.
Breaking and entering: A key was broken off in a garage door lock at a home in the 40 block of S. Edgehill Avenue.
Jan. 9
Theft: Medication was taken at a home in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: Money was taken from a home in the 200 block of S. Edgehill Avenue.
Theft: Cooking sets were taken from an attic at a home in the 300 block of Idlewood Road.
Jan. 10
Criminal damaging: A screen was cut at a home in the 3000 block of Frederick Street.
Theft: A bookbag and books were stolen from an auto at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Warrant: Eric Bender, 22, homeless, was arrested on a warrant charging him with two counts of complicity to aggravated burglary, and aggravated trespassing.
Warrant: Brittany Holland, 23, homeless, was arrested on a warrant charging her with aggravated burglary and complicity to aggravated burglary.
Bad check: A bad check for $526.81 was given to an employee at Coney Island, 31 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Heather Nelson, 20, of S. Raccoon Road, was arrested and charged with stealing $94.90 worth of clothing at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Menacing: Threats were made at Rainbow, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Josh Foster, 30, of Royal Mall Drive, Niles, was arrested on a warrant charging misuse of a credit card.
Jan. 12
Disturbance: A disturbance with participants drunk and fighting was reported at O’Donold’s Irish Pub, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: A rear door was kicked in and items taken at Home City Ice, 3733 Oakwood Ave.
Warrant: Joseph Mix, 28, of Canfield Road, Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear on a theft charge.
