Boardman police charge woman with theft

BOARDMAN

Boardman police arrested a Warren woman in the early hours on Wednesday for suspected felony theft.

Lashai Williams, 22, of Colonial Street, Warren, is accused of stealing more than $1,000 in merchandise with other women from Babies R Us in Boardman.

The manager of the store called police on Nov. 16 to report the theft. Five females were accused of stealing $1,269.09 in merchandise, according to a police report.

Police picked up Williams at the Trumbull County Justice Center. Williams posted bond after she was taken into custody.

She has an arraignment at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
