Ringling circus coming to Covelli

YOUNGSTOWN

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus will return to Covelli Centre April 25-28 to perform its new show “Legends.”

Tickets are $14, $19 and $50 (front row) and go on sale March 10 at the Covelli box office, ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets and by phone at 1-800-745-3000. VIP tickets, priced at either $35 or $38 depending on the performance, are also available.

A limited number of Ringmaster’s Zone tickets are also available at any ticket level. Ringmaster’s Zone provides exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the show.

Show times are 7 p.m. April 25; 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. April 26 and 27; and 7 p.m. April 28.

Free with all tickets is an interactive family-oriented pre-show, an hour before each performance, at which children and adults can meet the performers and learn some circus skills.

Community band open to musicians

CORTLAND

Cortland Community Band, directed by Craig Wiencek, will meet Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. in the music room of Cortland Middle School, Wakefield Drive, beginning this week.

Anyone who is considering joining is welcome to attend, and is asked to bring their instrument. There are no auditions or fees, and all ages are welcome.

Lemodeln Agency is looking for an actor to audition for the lead role in a Warner Bros. film about Peter Pan.

The actor must be a scrawny yet physically fit boy between 11 and 14, with acting experience.
