2 New Castle men sent to prison for oxycodone sales


NEW CASTLE, Pa.

Two New Castle residents were sentenced for drug convictions in federal court in Pittsburgh.

Christopher Klingensmith, 39, was sentenced to 171⁄2 years in prison. James Cracraft, 39, was sentenced to 37 months, followed by three years’ supervised release, said U.S. Attorney David J. Hickton. Both were sentenced Friday.

Hickton said Klingensmith led a New Castle-area drug ring that distributed oxycodone from 2008 to 2011. Cracraft was a distributor, Hickton said
