State gives $100,000 to roads for Mahoning County gas processing plant

The state Controlling Board released $100,000 Monday for a road project to accommodate a Mahoning County natural gas processing plant.

The improvements to East Middletown, Rapp and Stateline roads in Springfield Township are aimed at Pennant Midstream, which plans to create 15 full-time jobs paying an average of about $32 an hour.
