Financial-aid night at Struthers High

STRUTHERS — Struthers High School is hosting a Financial Aid Night for students and parents at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the school cafeteria.

Gina McHenry of Youngstown State University’s financial-aid office will offer information, and additional scholarship information also will be available. The school’s guidance department will present “How to Prepare for College” at 6 p.m. Feb. 13 in the high school cafeteria. Parents of sophomores and juniors are encouraged to attend.

Library bakery

AUSTINTOWN —One Hot Cookie, a boutique retail bakery, is coming to the Austintown Library in February.

The bakery will open in the atrium entrance of the library. Traditional and speciality cookies will be offered at the bakery.

The opening date has yet to be set.
