Library will offer youth programs
EAST PALESTINE
East Palestine Memorial Public Library, 309 N. Market St., will offer the following programs:
Teen Time is a monthly program for students 11 years old and older. They will meet at 3 p.m. Monday and will learn about borrowing ebooks and digital downloads from the Ohio Digital Library collection.
After School Stories and More is for children in kindergarten to fourth grade and will meet at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday with a winter-themed program of stories, crafts and games.
Legos at the Library is for all ages and will be at 1 p.m. Saturday. It will include a show and tell.
Registration is necessary by calling the library at 330-426-3778.
Library friends will meet Monday
BOARDMAN
Friends of the Boardman Library will meet at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, 7680 Glenwood Ave.
Dr. Regina Reese will present “Good Books for Young Adults.”
Hostesses will be Margaret Klein, Jeanie Price and Amy Sposato.
Donations of books, magazines, DVDs and CDs will be collected on the first and third Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon.
Library is offering to repair books
LEETONIA
Leetonia Community Public Library, 181 Walnut St., is offering a book-repair service.
Anyone who owns books that need repairs may take them to the library from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday to see if they can be fixed. The minimum charge is $1; more extensive repairs may cost a bit more.
Repairs may be done Saturday, or you may need to pick up the book at a later date to be arranged when you drop it off.
