Elizabeth Ann Alberico and Daniel James Polkovitch exchanged vows Aug. 24 at St. Luke Church. The Rev. Terry Schneider officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at Dayton Art Institute.

Debbie and Tino Alberico of Beavercreek and Mary Jean and Larry Polkovitch of Canfield are the parents of the bride and groom.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple reside in Chicago.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Ohio University and a juris doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law. She is an attorney for Litchfield Cavo LLP in Chicago.

The groom also earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Ohio University. He is a senior transportation representative for C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc. in Chicago.

The bride wore a cream duchess silk satin trumpet-style gown with an ivory Alen ßon lace overlay and strapless sweetheart neckline. It was embellished with an ivory satin ribbon and jeweled floral belt.

Sister of the bride Kristy Alberico was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Harman, the groom’s sister; Laura Clink; Jamie Edd; Liz Johnson; Lyndsey Klempay; and Lauren Whitehead. The attendants wore navy blue gowns.

Chris Farrell was best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Harman, the groom’s brother-in-law; Jimmy Kozlow, the groom’s cousin; Mac Hataway; Michael Mancini; Michael Ricks; and Joel Vertanen.
