Salineville man hospitalized after motorcycle crash

WELLSVILLE

A Salineville man, James A. Hawk, 49, was seriously injured Saturday when the motorcycle he was driving went off the right side of state Route 39 into a ditch where it overturned. Hawk as thrown from the cycle.

A report from the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Lisbon Barracks said Hawk was westbound on Route 39 when the crash occurred at about 3:40 p.m. at the intersection of Oakridge Road.

Hawk was taken to Pittsburgh Presbyterian Hospital for treatment, according to the OHSP.
