Kinsman man dies in single-car accident

GUSTAVUS — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash on Gardner-Barclay Road, in which an SUV slid on ice, went off the right side of the road and hit a tree.

The driver, Ellwood V. McCracken, 69, of Kinsman, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 2:20 p.m. Thursday crash.
