Orthodox party set for New Year's Eve

YOUNGSTOWN

The Orthodox Center, 1025 N. Belle Vista Ave., on the West Side, will host New Year’s Eve in Ukraine on Jan. 25.

Doors open at 5:20 p.m., and a dinner buffet will be served from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

A cash bar will be open from 5 to 11 p.m., and no outside beverages are permitted.

The Del Sinchak Band and DJ Wayne’s World will provide dance music from 7 to 9 p.m. The Youngstown Area Ukrainian Dance Group and the International Folk Dance Ensemble will perform.

A champagne toast, hats and noisemakers are included.

Advance tickets are $20 per adult and $5 for those 6 to 18; at the door the prices are $25 and $10. Kids 5 and under are admitted free.

The discount prices end Monday.
