Man, woman dead in Cincy shooting

CINCINNATI (AP) — Authorities say two children were present when a man and woman were fatally shot in a Cincinnati home overnight.

Media reports say it happened at about 1:30 a.m. today in the Avondale area. The children, girls ages 3 and 6, were not hurt, and officers said they were safe with relatives.

Police are still investigating, and no arrests have been made.

Also early today, the body of a woman believed to be a homicide victim was found on a street in the Over-The-Rhine neighborhood.

No names have been released.
