Man guilty in Warren kidnapping case

WARREN

A jury deliberated only one hour before finding Taylor Ervin-Williams 20, guilty on all counts in a kidnapping, aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary.

Ervin-Williams forced a Charles Avenue Southeast woman and her 19-year-old son to get into their car at 10 p.m. Feb. 22 and drive to an ATM machine near the Hot Dog Shoppe on West Market Street to withdraw $300 from the woman’s bank account.

Ervin-Williams, of Belmont Street Northwest, will be sentenced at 9 a.m. Jan. 15 by Judge Ronald Rice of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court. He could get more than 30 years in prison.
