The community theaters in the Mahoning Valley will soon resume their seasons after the Christmas break. Here is a look at what is on the horizon:

“Intelligence” (9 p.m., CBS): In the new drama “Intelligence,” Josh Holloway (“Lost”) plays a high-tech intelligence operative who has had a supercomputer microchip implanted in his brain. So we’re thinking he must be really awesome at Words With Friends.
“Justified” (10 p.m., FX): Criminal scumbags, beware: Hotshot Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) returns in Season 5 of “Justified,” and he still won’t think twice about using you for target practice.
“Killer Women” 10 p.m., ABC): Tricia Helfer (“Battlestar Galactica”) stars in a new drama with a provocative title: “Killer Women.” She plays Molly Parker, one of the few women working as a crime-fighting Texas Ranger.

Foodtaste Footrace at 10 establishments
Sharon, Pa.
Quaker Steak & Lube, 101 Chestnut St., and nine other downtown businesses will host the 27th annual Frostbite Foodtaste Footrace on Thursday, starting at 7 p.m.
The $12 entry fee benefits the Prince of Peace Center’s Help Heat Homes Program. Each participating location will offer a free food taste and drink specials.
The stops are The A.C.T., Bissel’s Silver Star Saloon, The Russian Club, Billy’s Black & Gold, Our Gang’s Lounge, Side Pocket Cafe, Sons of Italy, Quaker Steak & Lube and a tailgate party with Basilone’s, La Isla Mexican Restaurant and Nittany Pub & Grille at the Sugar Shack.
There also will be an after-party at Tully’s.
The first 600 people to sign up get a free souvenir hat and T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place in the male and female categories, as well as for best attire (male and female), “food critic” (male and female), party pack and last-place finisher.
Registrants can sign up at any participating location today or at Quaker Steak & Lube from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday.
