Youngstown health board hires two

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown Board of Health has approved hiring two city residents to fill the positions of director of nursing and public health sanitarian in training, both effective Dec. 9, 2013.

Anthea M. Mickens, RN, an employee of the department since 2007, was named director of nursing. She will be paid $27.07 per hour or $56,315.48 per year.

Sean C. Ivan, the new public sanitarian, will be paid $16.54 per hour or $34,399 annually. Ivan, who in the past worked for the Trumbull County Health Department, will be a sanitarian in training for two years.
