Wendy C. (Jenkins) Baklarz and Jaison H. Fisher exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. Aug. 9 on the beach at RIU Palace, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

A reception followed at Mar de Cortes Steakhouse followed by dancing at Pacha nightclub. A second reception took place Aug. 24 at The Commons in Franklin, Pa.

The bride is the daughter of Roger and Jane Jenkins of Franklin. The parents of the groom are Dan and Sharon Fisher, also of Franklin.

The Rev. Marco Arechiga officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

The bride’s trumpet-style gown was accented with a satin belt adorned with Swarovski crystals and pearls. The V neckline featured piping of delicate beading and metallic embroidery carried to the back.

Melissa Bayus was maid of honor, and Heather Taindel was matron of honor. Bridesmaids, wearing aqua-blue dresses, were Allie Baklarz, daughter of the bride; Pam Hernandez and Kathy Maiorana.

Jeffery Fisher, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Krystopher Baklarz, son of the bride, Mike Armant, Mike Jacobs, Andrew Jannot and Jeff Kelly. Ushers were Joe Veverka and Chris Jamison, and ring bearer was Ethan Jannot.

Flower girls were Kristen Fisher, the groom’s niece, and Madison Sivi, cousin of the groom.

The bride is an account executive for LIN Media, representing WKBN, WYTV, WYFX and My YTV in Youngstown. She graduated from Duquesne University.

The groom is an account executive with Enterprise Car Sales in Canton. He graduated from Edinboro University.

After their honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, the couple reside in Boardman.
