YOUNGSTOWN

Kathryn Bernard and Kevin Antal exchanged vows Nov. 16 at St. Dominic Church. The Rev. William Loveless officiated at the 2 p.m. wedding, and a reception followed at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Carole Bernard of Canfield, and the groom is the son of Jerry and Debbie Antal of Youngstown.

The bride’s white strapless organza gown featured a sweetheart neckline, a beaded bodice and a basque waist. Scalloped, beaded lace edging adorned the skirt, which was fashioned with pickups at the hemline. Hand-beaded buttons decorated the skirt and the chapel-length train.

Serving as maid of honor was Meagan Anderson. Bridesmaids were Kari Antal, sister-in-law of the groom; Shellyn Leeper; and Marley Ridgley. The attendants wore apple-red halter-style gowns.

Jeremy Antal, the groom’s son; and Brian Antal, the groom’s brother, shared the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Michael Bernard, the bride’s brother; and Brian Rotunno.

Participating as flower girl was Alexis Antal, the groom’s niece; and the ring bearer was Tyler Antal, the groom’s nephew.

The bride earned bachelor’s degrees in painting and art education from Youngstown State University. She is employed as an art teacher at Canfield High School.

The groom studied at YSU and works as a detailer-estimator at Builders’ Hardware & Supply Co. Inc. in Austintown.

The couple honeymooned in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and live in Boardman.
