Danielle Dixon and Raymond Lation III exchanged vows in a Dec. 5 beachside ceremony at Sandal’s Regency La Toc in Castries, St. Lucia, where a reception followed.

The bride is the daughter of M. Dione Dixon and Lidell Hilson, both of Hubbard. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lation II of New Orleans.

The bride’s corset-mermaid-style gown was fashioned of ivory satin and featured crystal embellishments at the shoulder and waist.

The bride earned degrees in English and pre-medicine from Ohio State University, a master’s in public health from the University of Pittsburgh, and a doctor of osteopathy degree from Lake Erie College of Medicine.

She is employed as a pediatric physician at St. Francis Children’s Hospital/Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa.

The groom graduated from the University of LaFayette with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. He is employed as a communications technician for H.B. Rentals in Tulsa

The couple reside in Tulsa.
