For Spiro L. McCree will next appear in Campbell Municipal Court on Friday.
City police stopped Frangos and McCree shortly before 5 a.m. Thursday at of Wilson Avenue and Robinson Road.
Frangos, the driver, had been speeding, but when an officer told him the reason for the traffic stop, both he and McCree appeared nervous, staring into space and breathing quickly, according to a police report.
A search of the truck revealed a syringe containing suspected saline and suspected heroin.
Police also found a Suboxone dose in Frangos’ pocket while McCree acknowledged that he had shoved a paper towel containing four complete syringes and a spoon with burn marks inside the truck’s center console when police initiated the traffic stop.
In addition, police seized $20 from McCree, and $100 from Frangos.
