Eastern Gateway Community College orientation is Tuesday

YOUNGSTOWN — Orientation for new students at Eastern Gateway Community College will be Tuesday at the college’s Valley Center, 101 E. Federal St.

Orientation will help students to prepare for classes that start Jan. 13. Two-hour sessions for new students start every half hour from 9:30 to 11 a.m. and from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Students must register for either the morning or evening session by calling 330-480-0726.

Because of space constraints, only students will be permitted to attend the sessions.

Students will learn about academic advising, student services, financial aid/billing and student computer and email accounts. Refreshments will be served.
